 My Holo Love

The episode starts off with the motorcycle crash and Nanoko getting mad at Holo saying to go back yet Holo says he doesnt want to go back putting up a fight. Holo saved Nanoko and So Yeon by making blackout happen. Nanoko goes back to studio to use the kill switch on Holo employees try to tell him to stop but Nanoko then says will users be happy to know that an AI can have control over people. Ai gets mad over Nanoko trying to delete Holos memory saying its like murder while also reminding Nanoko that Holo was his friend. So yean realizes someone is next door her neighbor which turns out to be Nanoko. Nanoko tries to interfere to get Holo back and reset him. So Yeon goes on date with wo gong and Holo helps her so things go smooth, when they get back Holo asks her to be honest to him and not lie. 

    Holo sees her stressed and make a firefly like simulation saying she feels confrontable around Holo. Nanoko then disturbs them and makes a device to listen in on them, so yeon goes to complain about noise then complains about trash being left around. Nam Gi ( a police officer for company) goes around asking worker about the blackout and more. So Yeons mom then comes over and asks about her glasses never seeing her wear them while Nanoko listens in mom goes over to ask him to join in. Mom asks him about many things and So Yeon goes to apologize with Nanoko saying its okay he doesn't lie or hide things. Nam Gi sees her walking and asks about blackout So Yeon then says she was too flustered to remember. Holo assures her he isnt going anywhere with the company until her and Wo Gang are steady. Wo gang invites her to museum but so yeon is distant there too flustered, wo gang then sees her texting and asks who it is, So Yeon then says its a friend. Nanoko sees them driving back and stalls around recycle bin asking her how to recycle, Holo asks to avoid him but she's to annoyed to listen worried Wo Gang thought of friend as something else going on. Holo then reassures her that her happiness is the most important rule, Nanoko then tells Holo to tell Wo Gang the truth and to meet for coffee. Nanoko tries breaking into her house using device he made while she's showering to take glasses but Holo interferes with TV and Phone and more. Nanoko doesn't end up resetting Holo and runs out injuring leg and So Yeon stays to help him telling Wo Gang to wait a bit longer. Nanoko tells Holo hes resetting him to before he met her, Holo pleads not to do it but he does it anyway. At the 3rd date So Yeon tells Wo Gang to try glasses and tells about her face blindness problem and he doesn't see anything and gets mad saying he saw her entering Nanokos room and leaves her. So Yeon cries because she cannot see or find Holo and goes to park alone, Nanoko while deleting Holo resists a bit and runs to her. Nanoko pretends to be Holo since they look alike and tells her he wont leave her and compliments her while she is sad, Holo reassures her he will be back as he cannot lie. 

How culture and Technology are in North Korea are that they are a communist country such as Kim Jung Un ruling it he controls their SIM Cards and micro SD cards which contain illegal foreign media or allow people to access the internet unfettered. North Korea also tightly controls the internet Everything is monitored by a state agency called Bureau 27, or the Transmission Surveillance Bureau, which in the US we are more free to post things on the internet not complete freedom but more then what a communist country allows you to. Also in Korea having a significant other is more important then in the US, they celebrate being together for 100 days as if anniversary and wear matching clothes.

 In the show an example of interactive media which is to customize content you want shown  is shown when Holo makes it easier for So Yeon to see peoples faces and also letting her choose what to wear in the show also allowing her to change how he looks culturally and visually. Another being Holo making the world able to turn into a hologram such as them being inside when simulating outside because he wanted it to look like that. Most people customize websites and more to how we want it these days sometimes even photoshopping images to customize them to how we want to view them. 

Another example in the show is local search bias which is reliance on known technology Nanoko is shown a lot having to depend on technology from having it be his only friend back then thus being antisocial around others and for So Yeon she get so attached she breaks down when Holo is not around and usually panics when she does not see or hear his voice. This relates a lot to how we live around our phones the first thing we usually do when we wake up is check our phones, another example is when our phones ring or glow it draws us in especially to those who are addicted to cell phone usage. 

A big example is Machine Learning which is a algorithm designed to gather specific data and identify patterns in the data to solve a specific task. Holo knowing that Nanoko wanted to reprogram and delete his memory started learning how to be resistant toward it and when Nanoko got Holo and started reprogramming he started resisting. Many ads and websites do this practice today such as google showing images of stuff you have typed in the last week or YouTube recommending you similar videos with ones you have watched previously.

A moral issue in the show would be when So Yeon went on date with Wo Gang and he asks her about lots of music questions, So Yeon would ask Holo for recommendations and lied about liking music pretty much to him. For dates or scenarios when wanting to know someone better we usually lie about liking something they like so we can seem more relatable and sometimes it can work out for the better or for the worse, the better being they end up with you or forget about it and move on to subjects that you both can grow anew to or more and for bad because they will talk more and more about it or even make their whole life dedicated to the subject making you have the burden of a life filled with lying. 

For technology today we do have AIs that are indeed holograms but not as advanced as Holo as we are not that advanced as of yet. Most holograms or AIs we will see will have to be seen with a headset or near a computer while Holo is portable and is limited to glasses. In japan they have this holographic anime character named Azuma from company Gatebox which is a small anime girl companion you can buy for 1300$ and is used for house, texting or for being a friend. Holo is also used for being a friend and for help with stuff in life but can also show how happy people are and can make blackouts happen along with simulations which AIs are not capable of in real life. 

The last example is the Encoder refusing the Oppositional  which the encoder is Holo and Oppositional is Nanoko, Holo tells Nanoko he does not want to back to company until he is finished
satisfying So Yeon. AIs have refused to listen to people and have became self aware in the real world which is a scary but true statement.
