My Holo Love 5

 MY HOLO LOVE 

The episode starts out with So Yeon having flashbacks, she then wakes up in hospital then immediately looks for glasses. So Yeon panics when putting on  glasses realizing she is able to see Holos face clearly yet is not able to see anyone else. She tells Holo she loves him and that is why she has been acting so strange around him, Holo hiccups and is nervous when she says it. Nanoko goes back to his office bio lab and get mad saying So Yeon loves Holo , he is jealous.  So yeons friends come in to with her well in hospital, doctor tells So Yeon that maybe someone important (Holo ) healed her trauma a bit as she tells him about being able to see Holos face yet having face blindness. Her face blindness came from past trauma, So Yeon tells Holo first time she recognized someones face was during childhood. Yoo jin ( Nanokos assist at bio lab) tells Nanoko that people want to see the beta test for Holo , Holo appears and tells Nanoko that problem is So Yeon thinks holo saved her life when it was Nanoko , So Yeon does not know Nanoko and Holo have the same face. Holo tells Nanoko he is a AI who cannot fall in love, Nanoko doesn't want to hurt So Yeon but the company needs the glasses back for the beta test. Nanoko is jealous of Holo and doesn't want to lose So Yeon to him. Nan ki (police guy) looks over events of blackouts and such Holo has caused with it all relating to So Yeon. So Yeon goes shopping happily after getting out of hospital buying too much stuff.   

    So Yeon decides to cook at home despite never doing so and Holo helps her with cooking using a simulation helping her through the steps. Holo tries to tell So Yeon about his and Nanokos face but so Yeon dodges the question by saying she is happy to him. Bio labs investor comes and see if beta is ready and then once told no by Yoo Jin he says he heard rumor about error with Holo and says if its not back by a week he is withdrawing all funds from bio labs. So Yeon goes shopping with Holo happy to see him try on stuff while being able to see his face. Yoo jin finds So Yeon and tries to go up before Nanoko asks if he can try to tell her himself, So Yeon walks up to Nanoko thinking its Holo he hiccupped ( holo learned hiccupping from Nanoko both do it when nervous). Nanoko tries to tell So Yeon but she keeps avoiding the questions. So Yeon goes skating and Nanoko sits out nervous while trying to pretend to be Holo, So Yeonfalls and Nanoko goes out and pulls out hand only to pull it back realizing he is pretending to be Holo. Holo makes message appear on ski light saying its your moment trying to get Nanoko to tell her now but he is nervous. So Yeon used to be afraid walking alone at night now she isn't because of Holo she tells Nanoko not knowing its Nanoko (Holo and Nanoko have same face). So Yeon tells Nanoko it is not only because she saw face when she woke up she recognized it true love she says, saying everything Holo did was an act of love and once she realized she loved him. So yeon runs into her mom and Nanoko hides behind bush then Holo pops up distracting her and her mom.  Nanoko hides next door inside his apartment room ( he lives by her rented out apartment room by her) Holo calls and asks what's taking so long, Nanoko says he likes So Yeon.     

    So Yeon sneaks away from mom with Holo and she realizes his outfit isn't same with Holo telling her she liked him wearing brighter outfits it suited him more. So Yeons mom goes over to Nanokos room and tells him she saw him hide behind bush and if he really liked So Yeon which h e states yes. So Yeons mom passes out once going outside, Holo tells her he called hospital and they will arrive in 15 mintues, Nanoko hides his face and asks if he can carry her mom to nearby hospital. So Yeon thanks Nanoko not knowing its him as he runs out of hospital and goes back to bio lab and crys saying what is this feeling. Nanoko even being a loner secretly always wanted to be loved by someone ever since his parents died when he was young. So yeons mom gets out of hospital and is okay and she goes to work, So Yeonrealizes its snowing and asks Holo to make snowman with her. They make snowman and Holo tells So Yeon he will always be by her side no more being lonely and that he loves her. Nanoko is sick lying in bed depressed as well, Magic mirror calls and tells bio lab that the investors sold all the stock to them. Nan ki tells police about 17 year old hacker who he knows is still alive and is chasing who is Nanoko but he does not know. Nanoko sees that Magic mirror investors are in Bio lab and decides to fight back agaisnt them. 

There are many examples of surveillance in the series such as when So yeon went inside the presentation room and Magic mirror was watching over her from a secret room with surveillance cameras and computers. This is an issue because they are able to see and hear what a person says and is doing without them being aware even in the most popular or secure of places, it shows no matter how safe or even if the place is populated you can still be watched or heard from afar. Another example of surveillance technology is when Nanoko set up a giant computer by her apartment room and was able to hear clearly what she said without her knowing. The issue with this is that it is a very prevalent type of surveillance to this day because we have cameras and such all around us and sometimes we are unaware if we are being heard by others. 

Narrative elements related to privacy have also happened a lot in this show. Nanoko moving in by her apartment and then following her around sometimes without her knowing while also listening to what she says by looking through Holos memories. This is important to the plot because Nanoko sees that So Yeon is in danger by Magic mirror wanting the glasses and he has to stay close by to protect her but it is still an issue because it is pretty much just stalking her and more which is not okay in todays society
. Another example is when Magic mirror was looking through her social media and almost got So Yeon while she was hanging out with friend at beach, Nanoko fought them and was able to figure out who some in the enemy company were. This is important to the plot because it helped Nanoko figure out who some people were while also showing in general how dangerous social media can be to some people often reveling to much information can be bad in certain scenarios. 

In the show there is an example of disinformation which is false information created and circulated with the intent to harm. Yo jin talks a lot with Magic Mirrors leader Chun in which he is the main Villian  in the show and is trying to trick her into getting into bio lab easier and getting Holo, Chun gets her to agree lying about helping bio lab with their funds and tricks investors into making his company buy out bio lab and even calls others to trick them into helping his company out. In society disinformation is very present everywhere especially online for example on YouTube there are these ads which say you can get something that costs money for free when in reality once you click the link below its malware or a virus 99% of the time which is with the intent to harm because they can sometimes even access your computer. 

in the show there is an example of crowd sourcing which is pooling information, input, ideas from a broad range of individuals to perform a task or solve a problem. Nam ki which is the police officer teams up with magic mirror because the thing they want both come from Nanoko and they work together to try and capture them while each does their own thing. Nam ki wants to know why blackouts and such are all relating to So Yeon and Nanoko while Magic mirror wants Holo for themselves while knowing a bit about Nanoko so they both provide as much information to each other as possible. People do this a lot online and in person it is a very common thing to do because it sometimes benefits both sides while benefiting you more or everyone at times crowd sourcing is very useful for media and even business because you can accomplish more then you would expect.
